There’s a lot going on at St Mary’s for the church and the local community, from small groups to social events, fun days, children’s holiday clubs and more.
Joining a small group is the best way to get involved in the community at St Mary's and continue growing in your walk with Jesus. Every week groups meet to study the Bible together, pray for one another and encourage each other in living out our faith.
On Wednesday evenings a group meets at the vicarage, next to the church from 7.30-9pm and on Thursday mornings a group meets at Eatwells Community Cafe in the Neighboorhood Centre, Underhill circus from 9.30-11am. All are welcome to join either or both groups.
On Wednesday mornings in term time, the church is opened up for all pre-school children and the parents and carers for a chance to play, chat and make friends over a cup of tea or coffee. It runs between 10 and 11.30am and costs £1 per family to attend to cover costs.
Coffee & Craft
On Monday morning, Lynn Bossward leads a group of women who come to the church to get away, drink coffee, chat with each other, and work on a craft. It's simple and a blessing to all who come. We love to have anyone from the community join us.
