Built to Serve
St Mary’s Church was completed in 2026 following a major renovation and improvement programme for which we raised £1.1million to do the work. The original design by architect Nugent Cachemaille-Day has been honoured and our renewed building is Built to Serve the parish and we are now equipped to continue the work in Barton, Sandhills and Barton Park. We were out of the building from May 2025 until August 2026 and are now enjoying the benefits of the all the work we have done. Do come and see, join us on Sundays at 10am and in various midweek activities advertised via our website.
We are very thankful and frankly amazed at the response so far from the congregation and from Trusts and Charities - Thanks to: Warner Benefit; Doris Field Charitable Trust; The Gladiator Trust; The Benefact Charity; Oxford Historic Churches Trust; Congregational and General Charity; Oxford Diocesan Development Fund; The Garfield Weston Charity, The Beatrice Laing Foundation, Awards for All, Local Councillor’s discretionary fund and All Souls College
Thank you so much for your generous support and prayers.
